About Us

Since 1898, St. Philip Neri has been at the center of our Bedford Park community. To help serve our community for the next 100 years, we have established the St. Philip Neri Catholic Education & Family Center. In partnership with the Archdiocese of New York, the Catholic Education & Family Center will offer all of these programs in one place to better serve our young people, their families, and the Bronx community.

The St. Philip Neri Catholic Education & Family Center is a model for the future of Catholic education and family engagement rooted in the holistic development of our families through students. We connect our students, parishioners and neighbors to education and services that can help them thrive while supporting our Bronx community.

Our Vision

Formed by the Archdiocese of New York, St. Philip Neri Catholic Education & Family Center envisions a future for Bedford Park and the Bronx where, through our work, parishioners, students, and neighbors have access to:

• a vibrant and faith-filled community that enhances the local St. Philip Neri parish and the broader community through evangelization and faith formation,

• a world-class educational environment and experience at St. Philip Neri School with a thoughtful curriculum supported by a team of expert school leaders and staff,

• a comprehensive view of our students and parishioners’ well-being, providing new investments in cultural enrichment, health and safety resources, and

• a holistic approach to our families, supporting multigenerational households by meeting their needs across various issues and priorities identified by the community,

• developing new ideas to support the economic success of parishioners, and investment in the physical spaces and infrastructure at the St. Philip Neri campus
